Post-doctoral position at the Department of Composite Materials

Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a completed PhD in chemistry or biology (with a focus on biotechnology or microbiology) for the research and characterization of antibacterial nanomaterials and polymer surfaces/composites for a period of 1 year with the possibility of an extension for another year.
The applicant should have experience with any of the following analyses:
• Electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (EPR)
• Raman, UV-Vis and FTIR spectroscopy
• Atomic force microscopy
• Antibacterial efficiency tests
• Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles
• Testing of mechanical properties
The position is suitable for applicants with education:
PhD.
Language skills:
English language – Intermediate (B2)
Personal prerequisites and skills:
• work with a PC (MS Office, Outlook, Internet, Origin)

• reliability.
