10^th Bratislava Young Polymer Scientists Conference

It is our pleasure to invite you to the BYPoS 2025, which will be held from the 10^th to the 14^th of March in Stará Ľubovňa, a small town in the northeast of Slovakia. The event is organized by the Young Scientist Council of the Polymer Institute of Slovak Academy of Sciences, and it follows the tradition of regular meetings of young scientists, which started in 2007. 

The BYPoS conference is oriented on all fields of macromolecular chemistry and provides the ideal opportunity for young polymer scientists (Bc./MSc./PhD. students or young researchers up to 40 years old) to present and discuss their results and knowledge in the field of polymer chemistry and incorporate to the group of young, motivated people. 

The lectures will take place directly on the premises of the renovated Hotel Familia***, which offers the participants space for social activities, wellness, or fitness. 

We look forward to welcoming you in Stará Ľubovňa.

Scopes: 

• Polymer synthesis, characterization and testing
• Biopolymers, biomaterials and bio-related applications
• Polymers from renewable resources, recycling and sustainability
• (Nano)composites
• Polymer theory, modeling and simulations

All participants are called to have lectures.

Main lecture (invited speakers): 40 min. + 10 min. for discussion
Contributed lecture (all participants): 15 min. + 5 min. for discussion

Registration fee – all-inclusive

The registration fee covers all conference materials, accommodation in double rooms, and food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee breaks). 

Regular participant – 600 €
