Global Women’s Breakfast at Polymer Institute

We are thrilled to announce to you the 3rd GLOBAL WOMEN’S BREAKFAST at Polymer Institute SAS which will be focused on „Accelerating equity in science“ which is the main idea of GWB 2025 and refers to efforts aimed at creating a more inclusive, fair, and accessible scientific environment for everyone, regardless of their background, identity, or resources. It focuses on removing barriers and addressing disparities that have historically disadvantaged certain groups, such as women, people of color, individuals from low-income communities, or those from underrepresented regions or countries.

GWB 2025 will be held on February 19, 2025.

💥To accelerate equity, efforts might include:

🔥Increasing access to education, funding, and research opportunities for marginalized groups.
🔥Diversifying representation in scientific fields, from students to leaders in research institutions.
🔥Addressing systemic biases in conducting, publishing, and funding research.
🔥Creating inclusive environments where people from all backgrounds can thrive and contribute their perspectives to science.
🔥The goal is to ensure that scientific knowledge and progress benefit everyone, not just those in privileged positions, and that all voices and contributions are valued.

The meeting is also dedicated to the memory of our colleague Dr. Mária Omastová, a leader in the field of science and research who cared deeply about women’s equality.
